Robert Michael Markovics

Bob was born in Derby, Connecticut to Anna (Poeta) Markovics and Robert M. Markovics, Sr. on April 22, 1960. He and his wife Karin were married on October 2, 2008 in Plantation.  Bob worked as a public adjuster for Stellar Public Adjusting for about 15 years.  He was a veteran, and served in both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps.

Bob is preceded in death by his father, Robert M. Markovics Sr.

He is survived by his wife Karin Markovics, daughter Tabitha Markovics and son-in-law Justin LeVasseur, son Corbin Markovics, step-son Scott Haun, step-son Jordan Haun, six grandchildren – Camden, Aubry and Adelyn LeVasseur and Bryce, Ava and Sophia Markovics, sister Toni-Ann Muttick and brother-in-law George R. Muttick, nephew George S. Muttick, niece Samantha Muttick, brother James Markovics, niece Rachel Markovics and mother Anna-Maria Markovics.

A Visitation / Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home, 2401 S. University Dr, Davie Fl 33324. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home.

The family of Robert Michael Markovics, Jr. wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Cleveland Clinic Maroone Cancer Center, as well as the staff at Heartland Hospice.

In lieu of flowers Bob has asked that donations be made to the Humane Society of Broward County.
