Ronald A. "Ron" Robinson, 87, of Davie, Florida passed away May 25, 2016, at his residence. He was born February 9, 1929, in Walthamstow, Essex, England, the son of Arnold Edgar and Rose Helena (Power) Robinson.
Ron was raised in the Church of England and served in the British Royal Air Force. He moved to south Florida in 1958, living in Hollywood and Miramar before moving to Davie. Ron was a retired Mechanical Engineer and served on the Broward County Water District.
He is survived by his spouse, Joyce Ellen Robinson of Plantation; long-time companion, Ruth L Stallone of Davie; son, Michael Stephen Robinson of Hollywood; sister, Sandra Wright of England; grandchildren, Danielle, Michelle, Cariann, Cory and Tara and great-grandchildren, Anthony, Michael and Hailey. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, son, Terence Peter Robinson and sister, Olive.
