Rose Jerome

At the time of her passing, Rose Jerome was living at Heartland of Tamarac Nursing & Rehab Facility in Tamarac Florida.

Rose Jerome was born in Serca-La-Source, Haiti on April 11, 1932, Daughter of Beacus Mercure and Sabrina Joseph. At the age of 12, she left Serca-La-Source with her Aunt Violette Mercure to settle in Port-au Prince, Haiti.

She married Francois L. Jerome in Port-au-Prince with whom she has 5 children.

In 1982, Rose Jerome and husband came to the United States and settled in.Evanston, Illinois.

In 1998 they moved to Plantation, Florida until October of 2015.

Survivors include her loving children: Elsie Jerome, Mirta Jerome, Mirlande Leonard, Jean Aristide Jerome and Eva Van Tuinen. Her grand-children: Alexandra Jerome, Christian Van-Tuinen, Vivianne Leonard, Fabrice Beauvais, Olivia Leonard, Nicholas Leonard. 2 Step-Daughters: Marie-Ange Mosca and Danielle Jerome. Sons in Law: Enold Leonard and Paul Beauvais. Her loving Cousins: Huguette Mercure, Edouard Mercure, Marie Cecile Mercure, Jean Mercure, Marie-Lucie Mercure, Ismeon Valcin, Oriani Pierre and Paul Pierre. Sisters and Brothers in Law: Arismene Charles, Elina Blaise, Acelmo Bernadel, Alberto Bernadel and Admira Bernadel. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Rose Jerome will be deeply missed

Visitation on Thursday, November 5th from 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 2401 S. University Drive, Davie, FL 33324.

Funeral services on Friday, November 6th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Gregory Church, 200 N. University Drive, Plantation, Florida 33324.

Father Michael Hoyer will officiate. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Reception after the funeral services will be held at Sheraton Suites Plantation, 311 N. University Drive, Plantation, FL 33324.
