Rosemary T. Dowdle died November 22, 2011. Born in Chicago May 3, 1926 the only child of Edward Farrell and Rosemary Ryan, she was lovingly adopted by Tracy L. Turner, Jr. at age 7. Moved to Hollywood, FL December, 1960. She taught at St. Jerome and coached and taught at Nativity, followed by a career with the City of Hollywood and Broward County. She was an active member of the Hollywood Women's Club and the Hollywood Historical Society. Preceded in death by her husband, John and daughter, Rosemary Carr. Survived by daughters, Martha Podesta (Jeff Randall), Kathleen Johnson (Michael), Tracy Fialkowski (John), son Christopher (Beverly), 6 beloved grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Visitation on Saturday, November 26, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fred Hunter's, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
