I had a hard time writting this note, because I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that Sage is no longer with us. All in a sudden she grew up so fast, from being the little shy baby girl that barely wanted to speak at first, to a grown beautiful and stunning young lady. I still remember when Mathew and Kea posted her prom photos, I just could not believe how the time passed so fast, but still really short. 
For some reason God allowed me to be by her side in her last moments, and what an honor it was to say my last goodbye. To be able to hug and cry during the pain and sadness. 
I pray that everyday God brings comfort and strenght to her parents and to little Gordo, the cutest baby boy that loss his partner in crime. Love you always ❤️‍🩹

I went to school with Sage from elementary all the way through college. We didn’t speak much over the years, but she was always such a sweet and kind person with a beautiful smile. I got to know her a little more through Jahkeem and seeing the love he had for her,  it showed just how special she truly was. My heart goes out to her family, friends, and everyone who loved her. She’ll truly be missed.

Sage was truly a precious gift to all of us. Like a real princess, she brought beauty and order to everything she did. I've been blessed to watch her grow from a little girl, and though her time with us was far too short, her impact will last forever.

Matthew and Keanie, you raised an extraordinary daughter with such love and care. I'm really sorry for your loss, and I pray that God wraps His arms around you during this unimaginably difficult time. May you find moments of peace in the beautiful memories you shared with Sage, and know that you're surrounded by people who care deeply about you. May God grant you strength and comfort as you navigate through this profound loss.

All I can think of is what ifs and shoulda couldas, and all the things that weren’t said. No parent should ever have to bury a child and I know your parent’s hearts are breaking. You will truly be missed and always be remembered. If only there was more time. You will forever be in my heart. With much love and sincere regret for time not spent. I love you.

It’s saddening to hear about the loss of a fellow classmate of mine. I went to school with Sage from elementary all the way through college, and she was truly one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. She always had a smile on her face and a gentle, kind spirit that could brighten anyone’s day. Even though she was quiet, her presence spoke volumes.  she carried herself with so much grace and positivity. Sage will truly be missed, and my heart goes out to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Sage, I did not get to know you personally, but your mother always talked to me about you…. I seen pictures of you….. I have seen how much you have grown up to be a beautiful young lady, but this is so hard for me to hear or believe that my wonderful friend Keanie first baby is no more, I wished you had more time in this world to be with your family a bit more longer… but everything didn’t come out as planned… my heart hurts so much for your mom and family, for your life to be cut so short in such a young age only 19 years old.
