Sandra Lee Newcomb

Sandra was a long time resident of Hollywood, Florida and resided close to the beaches for the past 65 years. She shared her love of nature and the ocean with her children and grandchildren, teaching them how to float on the waves, cherish the sunrise, and recognize the most beautiful shells on the sand.

She was an avid music lover and found great joy in singing and playing the guitar with her family. She always had joy in her heart and a song on her lips, ready to share with anyone near or far. 

Sandra was a proud member of the American Legion Post 304, and prior to her retirement served her community while working for Broward County, as a Risk Manager. 

She kept those that passed before her close to her heart. Her daughter’s Sherry and April, her sister Susie, her husband Milton, and her parents remained in her thoughts and prayers daily.  

Sandra is survived by her children, David Zettle and Barbara Skrak, her Grandchildren, Dillion, James, Shannon, Brooke, Chelsea, Kenneth, and Troy, as well as 11 great grandchildren and her devoted friend William Condron, all whom loved and adored her. 

A mass will be held for friends and family at Nativity Catholic Church in Hollywood, Florida on Saturday, May 25th at 11:00 AM. Interment services attended by the family will immediately follow.
