Our beloved Tannis “Tammy” Andrea Christopher passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, in Miami, Florida. Tammy was born on November 28, 1965, in Queens, New York, to Caribbean immigrants, Malcolm and Florence Christopher. While growing up in New York, Tammy experienced the love and challenges as one of eight siblings in the Christopher household. As a young adult she made Miami, Florida her home where she could stay close to her parents and raise her two children. She worked at JCPenney for 29 years. Tammy had a gifted way of interacting with children: she loved them, and they loved her. Her loving tenderness was always displayed when interacting with her nieces and nephews and, of course, her very own Jayvan and Lauren. We will miss Tammy but trust that we will see her again in God’s heaven. Tammy is survived by her two children, Jayvan, and Lauren; parents, Malcolm and Florence Christopher; siblings, Sharon Humphrey, Linda Concepcion-Wrigley, Joanne Christopher-Hines, Milton Glen Christopher, Barry Christopher, and Mark McFarlane.
