

Born on March 24, 1932 in Miami, Florida, he is the son of Steve and Ruby Kelley Nash. He is predeceased by his first grandchild, Eric Nash.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Nancy Newell Nash, four children (Bruce (Judy), Karen Byrum (Mike), Brent (Belkis), Brian (Gina)), 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, his brother Wayne and sister Hilda.
Thomas was a Korean War veteran who proudly served in the U. S. Navy. He worked for the U. S. Postal Service for 35 years as a letter carrier and supervisor. After his time with the U. S. Postal Service he worked for Mellon Bank until his retirement at age 80.
He had a positive outlook on life, counting his blessings every day. He was also an avid collector of various antique and vintage "treasures". He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather whose greatest joy was spending times with those he loved. He also enjoyed seeing and spending time with his many aunts, uncles and cousins through the years.
A celebration of life will be held on June 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pentecostals of Cooper City, 5201 South Flamingo Road, Cooper City, FL 33330.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Thomas' name to the Pentecostals of Cooper City "Boxes of Hope" project.
