Waida M. Isaac

The funeral service will be held on Monday August 3 at 10 am at Fred Hunter. Pastor Matt Larson of New Hope Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 10 am on Aug 3 at Fred Hunter. Burial will follow the funeral at Fred Hunter a 11 am. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter.

Waida was born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico on October 1, 1941. She graduated from high school and continued on to receive an associate’s degree as a certified nurse assistant from Miami Dade Community College.

Waida worked as a traveling nurse aide for many years before retiring. She enjoyed taking her children to their sporting events, many gatherings and parties, shopping and eating all types of food; Lobster was her favorite. She loved Jeanette’s pork, Roxy’s flan and Sunflowers from Jennifer.  She loved being with people, her family and friends, looked forward to the next party, spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She loved everyone she met; she was always smiling and singing. You never saw her upset.

Waida is survived by son Paul and wife Maria and family, Daughter Donna and husband Jeff & Daughter Jessica and husband Luis and family, grandchildren Bella and Madison, Aunt Darida and children, and lots of friends who have always been her extended family.

Waida is preceded in death by her daughter, Susan (1980); and recently her son, George.
