singing with church groups and friends; in the early 1980s, he spent several years designing and making costumes for various Mardi Gras floats in New Orleans: and more recently, he had taken up square dancing. Family: He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Florence Tyree, and his brother, Carter Tyree, all of North Miami Beach, FL. He is survived by his Brother, David Tyree, of Waynesville, NC, and by his two sisters, Janice Nienhouse, of Stuart, FL, and Sharon Banger of Clarksville, TN, and by his nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins. Following cremation, there will be a private memorial service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Wayne.
