He was born on July 5, 1934 in the island of Trinidad and was the 4th child and “only son” of 6 children born to Joseph and Albertina Serraneau.
He attended Rosehill Elementary School in Trinidad and later worked as a Fire Officer. He married and had six children then migrated to New York in 1967 in order to make life easier for his family.
In 1979 he moved to California where he remarried and had another son. Within 5 years he again relocated to Florida. Wilfred loved life, his family, music, gardening and he was clean like the board of health always well dressed. He loved giving parties in New York whenever he could but all in all he was a great father and provider for his family. He was very religious until God called him home.
Wilfred leaves to mourn his devoted wife Dianne, his loving children Ingrid, Wendy, Donna, Bernadette, Sharon, Sheldon, Shurlan & Kerwin. He also has 20 Grandchildren 36 Great Grandchildren and his only surviving siblings Phyllis and Annmarie. He also leaves countless nieces, nephews, inlaws and friends.
He will be truly missed by all.
