Lala I miss you so much already. I know you're in heaven resting with Buelo. I'm going to miss practicing my spanish with you while you show off your "very good looking" English. I love you and I know you'll keep looking down and protecting all of us until we meet again.

You were so sweet and filled with joy - the simple kind, the best kind. I’m happy to have met you when I did. I enjoyed visiting with Anthony. I have this image of you waving at us, smiling from ear to ear as you waited for us to drive off. This was every time we visited and I’ll remember you forever this way, in that light. I know you’re at peace now, and that brings me peace.

Lala, I cannot believe you are gone. I love and miss you so much. You were such a constant in all our lives, it's hard to believe you are no longer with us. But I know that, though you may be physically gone, your soul and spirit live on and your love is with all of us forever. You were always the kindest, warmest, and most selfless person, doing everything in service of others, especially family and loved ones, to whom you gave your full devotion and love. I am grateful to have had such an amazing grandmother like you, and that we had your love for a full and rich 93 years. I will miss your picadillo, chocolate and strawberry ice cream, you waving me off from the front door, and, of course, your hello and goodbye kisses on each cheek. You can now rest easy and enjoy being reunited with Buelo, Maca, Tita and your mom. I know you missed them all very much and they missed and loved you so much too.

I wish I could turn back time…. I wish I would have visited you more. My heart aches that you are no longer with us, but I know you are at peace right now and with Chuchu looking down on us. Looking through these pictures brought me so much joy and it made my heart whole again. You treated me like I was a part of the family and took care of me since I was 30 days old, when no one else was able to…. you were like a second mom to me.

Thank you for so many memories and accepting my family and me with no judgment. I am forever thankful you were a part of my life and all those memories I will never forget. Especially having you by my side on one of the most important days in my life…the day I married my best friend. Just wish I would have hugged you a little longer that night. Going to miss you and you will forever be in my heart. Love you Lala.

So very hard to know you’re gone.  I miss you.  Thankful for how you and dad raised Carlos and I.  Raised with love, respect, and faith.  Love you always

Mami, you touched so many people in your 93 years on this earth. I know you missed Papi and were looking forward to reuniting with him. I miss you so much already that it hurts. Knowing I won’t hear your voice or your funny sayings. Rest In Peace. Te quiero mucho.

Ha sido para mi un gran honor el haberla conocido por más de 35 años y de haber sido la mejor suegra del mundo. Gracias por su hijo con quien he compartido 35 años de matrimonio y dos lindos hijos que la han amado como se quiere a una linda y amorosa abuela. La voy a extrañar mucho pero se que el Senor la tiene en su Gloria en la cual algún día volvamos a encontrarnos. Descanse y disfrute de la majestuosa presencia de nuestro Dios soberano!
