Gary was born on April 17, 1960 in Belleville, Illinois to Skip and Janet Layton Stoll and he was married to Marsha Callahan.
He graduated from High School in Belleville, Illinois and received his Master’s Degree in Business and Finance from the University of Illinois. He worked many years for the Department of Corrections in Jefferson City, Missouri where he had received the State of Missouri Employee of the Year award several times.
Gary was an avid member of the N.R.A. who liked to hunt, bow hunt and photograph wildlife with his wife, Marsha. He enjoyed all sports, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. He also liked to brew his own beer and enjoyed cooking. He had won the Jefferson City 2007 Chili cook-off.
Gary will be remembered as being a wonderful and exceptional father and the one of the most dedicated and reliable men that anyone could ever know.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha of Holts Summit; daughter, Mary Walters of Holts Summit; parents, Skip and Janet Stoll of Florida; sisters, Barbara Kistler of Belleville, Illinois, Vicki (Butch) Pauley of Atlanta, Georgia and Marie (Brad) Wallar of Kansas City, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association, both in care of Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street, Fulton, Missouri 65251.
