

Retired Chief Master Sergeant Franklin William Tousley passed away on August 10th 2012 at the age of 79 at Homestead Hospital. Franklin was born January 6, 1933 in Watertown, New York to Joseph David and Gwendolyn Eldora Ivernia Williams Tousley. Franklin grew up and remained in upstate New York until joining the United States Air Force in July of 1951. He served United States Air Force for the next 30 years. Upon retiring from the United States Air Force, Franklin began his employment with the Florida Department of Corrections and Probation in 1980 and remained with the Department of Corrections and Probation until 2003. Franklin is survived by his wife; Mary Lou Tousley, his children; Bonnie, and Frank Jr., his step-children; Gene, Bill, Merry Kay, Shawn, Debbie and Robin, his grand-children; Cameron, Jordan, Courtney, Zachary, Denise, Jamie, Timothy, Rachel, Sherri, Amy, Christopher, Kirstie, Scottie, and Ashley, his great-grandchildren; Julian and Johnny, his brothers; Winfred, Kenneth, and Marshall. Franklin was preceded in death by his father; Joseph, his mother; Gwendolyn, and his brother; Joseph Jr.
The United States Air Force Honor Guard will present Honors at the Branam Funeral Home, Homestead, Florida on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 6:00PM.
Interment will take place at South Florida VA National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida on Thursday August 16, 2012 leaving Homestead at 10:00AM.
