

Jane Lee Eversole was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 5, 1923 to Philip Edward Zilhalt and Frances Elizabeth Wright. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Eversole and her siblings Cress Zilhart, Mary Gray, Philip Zilhart and Sannye Murphy. She is survived by three children- Frankie St. James ( Ken), Philip Eversole (Tanja) and David Eversole; Four grandchildren- Randy McCormick( Marcia), Michele Thiery ( Andy), David Eversole (Jill) and Terrie Yarbrough; Nine great grandchildren- Zach, Lauren and Natalie McCormick, Donovan and Jillian Thiery, Christian, Tanner, Joeleah Brewster and Donnie Yarbrough.
While living in Louisville, Kentucky Jane was a Drum Majorette for the VFW Drum and Bugle Corp. She won several national titles. She graduated from Shawnee High School.
Jane moved to Homestead, Florida in 1953 and to Key Largo in 1971. Jane loved spending time with her family, camping, fishing, vacationing and cookouts. She worked at Key Largo School for 23 years caring for Pre K and Kindergarten children. She retired from Monroe County School District at age 81. Jane passed peacefully at her daughter’s home on October 1, 2013.
