Lionel Ulric Cornelius

Resident of Homestead, Florida passed away peacefully at Homestead Hospital. Lionel was born and raised in Georgetown, Guyana and later moved to Brooklyn, New York.

He was one of 7 children born to the late Frederick and Winifred Cornelius and was the beloved husband to Adeline Cornelius. Cherished sons Brian and Wayne, treasured grandchildren Brooke, Briana, Tabitha, and Kerry. Lionel will forever be remembered by his devoted brothers Frederick, Lloyd, and the late Stanley, loving sisters Eileen, Jacqueline, and Carol,

Lionel has touched so many lives thru the kindness of his heart, always willing to fix something, to lend a hand and go out of his way.

He will be waked on June 11, 2012 at Branam Funeral Home at 809 N Krome Ave., Homestead, Florida from 6pm-8pm. Family and friends are invited to attend the Church service on June 12, 2012 at St. John’s Episcopal Church at 145 NE 10th Street, Homestead, FL, at 10am and the Memorial service at Dade South Memorial Park at 14200 SW 117th Ave., Miami, FL will follow.
