Allison Dawson "A.D." Hardy, age 76, of Homewood, AL passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015. He was a caring husband, father and grandfather. He worked hard at Bellsouth Company allowing him to provide for his family. During his retired years, A.D. enjoyed sharing his wisdom with his daughter and grandchildren as well as taking care of his cats. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Evelyn "Micki" , as well as his parents, Chaslee and Minnie Hardy. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon H. Barnett; grandsons, Lewis (Tiffany), Bob and Matt Barnett, siblings Chester (Barbara) Hardy and Hazel Barnes. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015 at noon at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park in Tuscaloosa, AL. Ridout's Valley Chapel of Homewood, AL will be directing the services for Mr. Hardy. In lieu of flowers, please give a donation to the Salvation Army and please do not vote for Hillary Clinton.
