Ann Eittreim of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away in the early hours of July 5, 2019. Ann was born in 1938 to Rachel and David Neiswanger of Austin, Minnesota. She grew up in Austin, leaving to attend college in Decorah, Iowa. While at college, she met and later married Kinley Eittreim. Ann was a very active member of various bands while in High School and College. She played the piccolo and flute and was a proud member of her High School band and the Luther College Concert Band. Ann served for many years as an active member of the churches her husband served as pastor. She enjoyed entertaining, traveling, and a variety of social activities. At various times during her life she worked as a school teacher, a Census taker, an appellate court clerk, a bookkeeper, and a laboratory technician. She enjoyed numerous hobbies and activities. Her family was very important to her and she worked to maintain a close relationship with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Susan Eittreim Power and her son Mark Owen Eittreim, as well as 2 brothers and a sister, 2 sisters in law, 2 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was 80 years old. A memorial for Ann was held at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood, AL on July 30, 2019.
