Anthony accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the Friendship Baptist Church in Homewood.

He was known throughout the Rosedale Community to many as "Uncle Drew", "Sting", and "Andy". He was a quiet man with a calm spirit. He enjoyed his daily walks and cooking. He enjoyed being outside, especially relaxing on the front porch.

Anthony was always a pleasant and soft spoken man. He would greet you with a loving smile. His niece and I are members with the gospel group of the church he attended, Friendship Baptist Church.
Passing down his street with the toot of my car horn, Anthony quietly sitting on the front porch will give a big wave and smile in acknowledgement. Anthony will truly be missed by our Rosedale community friends. Condolences to the family.

Uncle Drew! A walk to the store, a swing on the porch or a laugh — haha that’s what we did! Special place in my heart forever! “Bet ya don’t have $2” lol our inside joke.
Love you!
