Antoinette Arnold Thomas, Age 101, of Pelham, Al died on June 14, 2011. Born in Devereaux, Ga, Mrs. Thomas lived her life with a tireless devotion to the Lord as a loving Christian wife, mother and granny. She was an avid gardener, working in her flower garden up until recently.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hillary Clinton Thomas. She is survived by her son, Sid Thomas of Vestavia Hills; grand daughters, Shella Herring (Greg) of Calera and Kristi Thomas of Pelham. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Payton and Chase Herring. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood from 12:00 until 1:00. Graveside services will be held 2:00 at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family ask, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to First Baptist Church of Birmingham, 2209 Lakeshore Dr., Homewood, Al 35209.
