Barbara Lewis Donaldson

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jesse" H. Donaldson, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Donaldson Azbik (Fred); son, Jim Donaldson; 4 grandchildren, Samantha Azbik Garrett (Logan), Thomas "Tommy" Donaldson (Courtney), Tyler Donaldson (Lily), and Nathan J. Azbik. She is also survived by her great grandson, Jack Garrett and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara lived in Homewood since she was 6 years old. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Friendship Sunday School class. She lived life to the fullest and was an avid Alabama fan.

Graveside services will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28th, at Alabama National Cemetery located at 3133 Highway 119, Montevallo, Alabama 35115. Friends attending the service are asked to arrive by 11:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials honoring the life of Barbara Lewis Donaldson be directed to the Children's Program at Trinity United Methodist Church or to a charity or cause important to you.
