Barry was a man of faith, believing in salvation through Jesus and life eternal. He primarily worked in health care business management. However, he was most known in Alabama and beyond for his work and contributions in theater.
Barry is survived by his parents, Bill and Shirley Austin; his brother Randy Austin (Sandra); two nieces, Dr. Emily Austin and Jessica Law (Lakin); two great nieces, Charley Law and Kinsley Law; many other dear family members and friends who love and miss him; and his beloved dog, Luca Austin.
A memorial service for Barry will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM followed by visitation from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM with both occurring at Mountain Brook Baptist Church, 3631 Montevallo Road, Mountain Brook, AL 35213.
