

Blanche Annette Logan passed away November 20, 2025, in Birmingham, Alabama at the age of 91. She was born on February 23, 1934, to Olene and Monroe Logan in Brundidge, Alabama. She grew up an only child with many cousins and friends.
Blanche graduated from Pike County High School and attended Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama for a year before attending and graduating from Alabama Polytechnic Institute with a degree in secretarial administration. She was a charter member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority at Auburn and made lifelong friendships and was able to attend the 50th Anniversary celebration.
After graduation in 1955, Blanche moved to Birmingham, Alabama where she started her career working for US Steel and its subsidiaries until 1989. She continued her career with the trust department of AmSouth until her retirement.
She is survived by her cousins, Peggy Pierson Alford of Atlanta, GA, Betsy Locke Williams of Charlotte, NC, Anna Locke Thielemann, and Jefferson Locke, both of Marietta, GA.
A private graveside service will be held in Brundidge, Alabama on December 1, 2025.
The family is especially grateful to Chrissy Trimm of LifeCare Solutions, the staff at Kirkwood by the River, and friend, Kendall Plier for their loving care the last few years of her life.
