Brenda McRee Allen of Homewood, AL passed away Tuesday, May 1st. She was a graduate of Shades Valley High School and attended the University of Montevallo. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her Shelties. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Paul Allen; daughter, Laura Allen Moore (Bret); grandchildren, Vivian, Annabelle & Finnegan; brother, Dennis McRee (Beckie); sister-in-law, Ann Griffin (Steve); nephews, Craig McRee, Chad McRee (Caroline), Chase McRee (Karlie), Matthew Griffin (Mary Haley), & Jacob Griffin. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 5th, at 11 AM at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
