On February 4, 2024, our father Charles Michael George passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was 95 years old. He was full of life and loved his family dearly. Mike was a man of great faith. He was always true to his word. He enjoyed cooking and interior design. He was well known around Birmingham and surrounding areas as one of the best designers. He participated in the Parade of Homes and enjoyed decorating residences for the holidays.
He is survived by his his loving wife, Marie Campisi George. He has four children, Mike Jr., Natalie, Lisa and Greg. Mike has four grandchildren, Chris, Brent, Catherine, and Lauren. Mike also had 10 great grandchildren.
Mike was loved by many and will be greatly missed until we meet again!
The family will receive friends at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church on Thursday, February 8th beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
