Charlotte "Bonnie" Fullilove Hassell

Charlotte “Bonnie” Izora Fullilove Hassell age 90 of Birmingham, AL , passed away on Aug. 13, 2015.Charlotte was born to William Freeman and Luvenia Adeline Williams Fullilove on Aug. 18, 1924 in Cullman, AL. Mrs. Hassell was a member of East Lake United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Susanna Sunday School Class and Randolph Sunday School Class. She was a proud member of the Civil Air Patrol and the Jefferson County Pharmaceutical Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, canning, needlework, and growing award winning African violets.

Mrs. Hassell was preceded in death by her brother Ludwell Nathaniel Fulilove and two sisters Mamie Ruth Sherrill and Arrie Francis Parrish. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, William Carl Hassell, one sister, Tishie Christine Triner, two daughters Lynda Evces (Chuck) and Laura Bryan (David), 4 grandchildren Will and Terry Bryan and Kathy (Butch) Douthit, Kenny (Tina) Hewitt, and 1 great grandchild, Trey Douthit, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Hassell will be Monday, Aug. 17, 2015 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM the funeral will follow at 1:00 PM at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood, AL. , burial will be at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL
