God Gives Us Memories

We can never be separated from those we love

Although we didn't have the fortune to know her, it is clear from the beautiful tributes here that Mrs. Brasher was a truly special lady. Her spirit and light continue to shine through her daughter (and our dear neighbor) Diane.

Paw Paw, I am so sorry for your loss of your precious wife. She was a beautiful,  giving, caring lady. She meant so much to all of us. May God comfort you  as only He can. I am praying for  you.

To the Brasher Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

Granny Brasher was a treasure to ALL. She was so precious to me and my children--prayers for her family.

Mama Frances...you will forever live in our hearts!  Charlie and I were so blessed by you and so grateful to have you in our lives.  We will miss you dearly. Pawpaw please know we love you and so many prayers are going up for you and your families. May God's Holy Spirit bring you much comfort at this time.

Granny (and PawPaw) were invaluable assets at Trussville middle school.  So many of us depended on her and no one could NOT love her.  They were quite the package.  The world was a better place with Granny in it.

I am so sorry - she was always a giving, willing, and smiling encourager, helper and friend.  We have missed you both.

Oh Cliff, I am so sorry to hear of Granny's death. The afternoons I spent after school laughing and talking with both of you are a special memory of my years at Hewitt Trussviille Middle School. Thank you for running off countless assignments for all of us and always making our cares vanish at the end of every school day.  What dear, dear people both of you are.  I know God smiled as he watched you go about your day for you brightened up the lives of those you came in contact with everyday.  Thank you for your friendship!

I am so sorry.  France was a beautiful person; always taking care of others.  She always had a big hug and sweet smile every time we saw her.  I pray that God will wrap his loving arms around you the next few days and weeks and that you will feel his love.  You are in my prayers.

Mrs. Brasher was the most wonderful lady I've ever know. She taught my child in Sunday School at Riverview for years. She always played the church organ and she would make the church full of a joyful noise unto the Lord. She is now playing in Heaven. What a wonderful image. I know she will be missed by family and friends but she is with her Heavenly Father now where she always wanted to be. I loved her and I feel blessed to have had her in my life. Mr. and Mrs. Brasher were my friends and neighbors for 36 years in Trussville. Lots of times we met at the mailbox to talk.  She was such a loving and caring person and I loved her very much.  Always such an uplifting lady.

Please let me give the family my condolences for the loss of France's. She was a sweet lady that I remember coming to my grandparents years ago. My father will be attending the service in respect for our family. I know that France's will be missed deeply by her children and grandchildren. We in our family have just lost our mom a couple of months ago and Mr.Clifford attended my moms service. Frances was such a splendid person, kind and loving and always setting a worthy example for others. My heartfelt sympathy goes to her husband Cliff and their children. They can be proud of her. I pray for God's blessings on all her family at this sad time.
