Frances was born July 9, 1960 in Birmingham. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sally Abbott Hopson. Survivors include her husband Doug Honeycutt; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Bascom Thompson Hopson “Tom”, her sister Katharine Hopson Blanton (Stan) of Birmingham; her brothers Frederick Thompson Hopson (Shannon) of San Rafael, California and Bascom Dorman Hopson of Breckinridge, Colorado.
Frances graduated from Mountain Brook High School and attended Troy University where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 5th at 3:00 pm in the Chapel at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Mountain Brook.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Birmingham Humane Society, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church or a favorite charity.
