Gayle saw me when no one else did. She didn’t see someone to help, she saw someone worth helping. She saw me before I ever did. She guided me through the darkest, most lonely time in my life. She fed my soul. I am grateful for her and will hold her loving smile in my heart forever. 

My heart was broken this morning when someone sent me the news of Gayle's passing. Ovid, we are so sorry to hear this. You both play such an integral role in my memories of starting Kingdom Life Christian Church. Gayle, was one of the most dedicated, passionate and energetic coordinators our kids ministry ever had. Her gentle spirit and yet ability to ask direct questions, all the while being willing to be the solution to a problem, made her both a valuable asset in ministry but even more, a dearly loved friend. 

Our church was never cleaner than when Gayle and Ovid ran our volunteer cleanings teams. The annual cleaning team picnic was an event to look forward to because they both invested so much love into their teams. Gayle was the quintessential hostess and made amazing food. I will especially remember her homemade wheat rolls with flour she ground herself. Not only were they delicious but they demonstrated the lengths she would go to show her love. 

We will continue to miss Gayle but are looking forward to the day we see her again. In the meantime, Ovid our prayers and love are with you.

My sincere condolences to you and your loved ones.  Your mom was a remarkable women of God and was known for her devotion to Christ and the mission set before her.  I met her in 1997 through a group I was involved with called Moms-in-Touch.  She was our ears and eyes in the school system giving us information to pray specifically for the children and teachers. Gayle was a cherished member of the Masuk High School community.  Her patience with students and her steadfast faith in the goodness of people inspired us all to be better.  She is dearly missed by students and faculty.  Rest in peace.  

Mrs. Haskins was missed when she retired and our hearts are deep with sadness of hearing of her passing.  Mrs. Haskins always had a smile on and brightened any room she would substitute in.  Our deepest condolences go to her family at this difficult time.

She faithfully served the community here for many years. May your memories of her be a blessing to you at this difficult time, and may Gayle rest in eternal peace.

Mrs. Haskins was an amazing human being. She brought a peaceful presence to the halls of Masuk High School in Monroe, CT.  I remember seeking her out with several other football players and asking her to pray for us on game day. She always obliged and there was something about her words that made you feel at peace and cared for. She was respected widely among faculty and students alike and will always be remembered as caring soul.
