

AGRAHAM, HAROLD GROVE JR. died Thursday, June 16, 2011. He was 82 years old. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 13, 1929 to Harold Grove Graham, Sr. and Mary Louise Mosel Graham. He attended The University of the South where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Episilon fraternity. He graduated in 1951 from Tulane University and Tulane University School of Law in 1954. He was a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and the Birmingham Bar Association. He served in the United States Army as a legal officer. In 1993, he retired from AmSouth Bank after 30 years of service where he was Vice President of Business Development. He was a graduate of LSU's School of Banking of the South and Northwestern University's School of Mortgage Banking. He held three graduate certificates from the American Institute of Banking. He was a life member of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He is survived by his nieces Claire Mapes Henninger and Georgia Mapes Woody and his nephew Frank Graham Mapes. Funeral services will be at Elmwood Cemetery on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Ridout's Valley Chapel directing.
