Henry Clay Chapman of Birmingham, Alabama died on June 22, 2014. Henry was born on September 4, 1921 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to William Franklin Chapman and Ora Ethel Chapman (Pennington). He was preceded in death by his brother, Virgil, his sister, Mable, and his wife, JoAnn. Henry was a World War II veteran who served in Pattons' Third Army and participated in the Normandy invasion. He spent most of his career as an electronic engineer in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is survived by his two sons, Robert Chapman of Overland Park, Kansas and David Chapman of Birmingham, Alabama; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa at 10:00 on Thursday, June 26.
