March 4, 1946-August 16, 2016 Jim passed away at his home Tuesday, August 16, 2016. He is survived by his 4 children, James V. Fairley, III "Jimbo", Jennifer Shackelford, Jeff Fairley, Claire Moloney and his brother "Mac". Jim will also be fondly remembered by his 10 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, 1 niece, and 1 nephew. The family will receive visitors Monday, August 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. at Ridout's Valley Chapel (Homewood, AL). Memorial donations in memory of Jim may be made to St. Vincent's Foundation, 1 Medical Park East Drive, Birmingham, AL 35235
