Jerry graduated from W. A. Berry High School in 1974 and attended Samford University from 1983-1985. He was a Master Carpenter and Contractor in the Birmingham area until his retirement earlier this year. At every opportunity he enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and hunting.
He lived a Christian life by example, honoring God by caring for his family and community with steadfast confidence. Jerry never pushed his beliefs on anyone, but was generous with his time, talents, and advice when asked.
While our loss seems unbearable, the evidence of this good man's life is everywhere in the faces of his loved ones, the houses that he built, and the memories we delight in sharing. We will gather to honor and remember him at Ridout’s Valley Chapel – Homewood, Al from 3-4:30 on December 4, 2021. With a service to follow.
