Joy Mullan Jordan, age 79 of Birmingham, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015. She was born in Tampa, Florida on November 26, 1936 to Joe and Leta Mullan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Burwell L. Jordan, III and a sister Nan Mullan. Joy is survived by her children: Kathleen Jordan Timberlake and husband Matthias Jordan Timberlake, Catherine Anne Jordan and Burwell L. Jordan, IV; grandchildren: Emily Alix Timberlake, Matthias Jordan Timberlake, Jr. and Whitney Blair Timberlake.
The family will honor the request of Joy and will host a reception at Joy’s home on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
