Judy Bullock Fitzpatrick

Judy Bullock Fitzpatrick, 76, died suddenly the evening of Sunday, December 10, 2023. Judy graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1964 where she was a majorette. She then attended the University of Alabama, earning a degree in interior design from the School of Home Economics and serving as an active member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. A dedicated parishioner of Canterbury United Methodist Church, Judy cherished knitting prayer shawls with the Knit Wits and time with the Bettye Owen Bible Study group.

The love and devotion Judy had for her family, friends, and animals was incredible. She found great joy in each moment spent with her family, not just in times of celebration but also in the routine of daily life. She especially loved being with her 4 grandchildren. Many wonderful days were spent at the beach, Alabama football games, vacations, and her grandchildren’s’ sporting events.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents Irene and JD Bullock. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Dr. William Oliver Fitzpatrick III; son William "Bebo" Fitzpatrick IV (Tracy); daughter Paige Tatarek (Kevin) and her grandchildren Will and Kate Fitzpatrick and Hannon and Christopher Tatarek.

A memorial service will be held at Canterbury United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 3:00, with visitation at 2:00. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude's, the American Cancer Society, Big Oak Ranch, or Canterbury United Methodist Church.
