

Patricia Perrin, 83, of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, passed away on May 13, 2026. Born May 17, 1942, Patricia will be remembered as a cherished presence in the lives of those who knew her—marked by compassion, steady faith, and an honest, kind-hearted spirit that offered comfort in both ordinary days and difficult moments. Her life reflected a quiet strength and a hard-working devotion to the people and responsibilities entrusted to her.
Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki Suzanne Duke, and her son, Steven Gregory Duke. She is survived by her sons, John Michael Duke and Marvin Allen Duke; five sisters; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. As “Mom to 4 children,” she carried her love for family with constancy and care, and those closest to her knew the depth of her faithful heart through the ways she showed up, listened, and gave.
Over the years, Patricia worked for South Central Bell and Dewberry Engraving for many years, bringing diligence and integrity to her work. Beyond her professional life, she found joy in country music, fishing, and Auburn Football—simple pleasures that became lasting points of connection with family and friends, and reminders of her warm, steady presence.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Cahaba Heights Baptist Church, with burial in the adjacent cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 5:00–7:00 at Ridout's Valley Chapel, 1800 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, Alabama 35209.
