Phillip A. Alfano, 64, of Birmingham passed away in his home peacefully on Friday, December 21st, 2018. Phillip was born on December 11th, 1954 and spent his working career at UAB. He enjoyed art, painting and spending time with friends. His greatest joy was his son, Nicholas Alfano. Phillip is proceeded in death by his mother, Anna Marie Alfano and survived by his son, Nicholas Alfano. Services will be held at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, 2061 Patton Chapel Rd, Birmingham AL 35216, beginning with a visitation at 9 am and mass to follow at 10 am on Thursday December 27th. A Graveside Service will follow at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum, 600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211.
