Renee was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Angela Boackle and by her brother, Ronald Boackle.
She is survived by her children Thomas (Casey), Angela (Juan), and Kristen (Brent), brothers Lawrence (Tomie Ann), Louis (Misti), and Russell, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews she held dearly in her heart.
Renee‘s kind spirit touched everyone she met. She will always be remembered for the love she poured into each day. As an electrical engineering student at UAB, she joined the co-op program at Southern Company which evolved into her lifelong career. Her passion for tutoring math and volunteering at Center Street were some of her proudest achievements. She was a magician in the kitchen: from her delicious recipes to her handmade crochet pot scrubbers. Her legacy will live on through her pride and joy: her seven amazing grandchildren Preston, Eva, Bodie, Brooklyn, Javi, Luke and Charlie Ann.
She lived life with grace and appreciated the friends she crossed paths with along the way. Rest in peace Sitty/Mom/Aunt Nay; we’ll think of you every day. Thanks for always being our biggest cheerleader. We lost an angel on Earth and Heaven gained one.
