Richard Howle

Richard Augustus Howle, age 25, went to be with our Lord on June 24, 2010. Richard was born September 7, 1984 the youngest of three sons to Gail and Alan J. Howle. Richard attended Briarwood elementary and graduated from Mountain Brook High School in 2003. Richard was a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church and was active in various outreach programs. He was currently enrolled as a student and anticipated graduating from Auburn University in Auburn, AL. with a major in Business Administration. Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. Richard was always a loving child and a happily spirited person and always made others laugh. He was a true patriot of his country America and a Christian in the kingdom of God. He was a true patron of his Irish heritage and the sport of soccer and especially Manchester United.

He is survived by his parents Gail and Alan J. Howle, and his brothers Charles Wilkins and Taylor Alan. He is also survived by his two grandmothers Laurie Howle and Ruth Nesbitt along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and a niece.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Jean Wilkins Howle, Mardis W. Howle Sr. and Charles T. Nesbitt.

Funeral Services for Richard will be held on Friday July 2nd, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Briarwood Presbyterian Church , Rev. Frank Barker officiating the services. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood.

Flowers may be sent to the Ridouts Valley Chapel in Homewood, AL, or in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Truth in Love Ministries.
