Rufus Downey “Pat” Montgomery, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was member of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Cahaba Heights.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Doris Motes Montgomery, his son, Bruce Downey Montgomery, his daughter in law, Janice, and his three grandsons, Mark Montgomery(Rachael), Scott Montgomery (Jamie) and Kreg Montgomery (Beth).
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Ridout’s Valley Chapel with a graveside service on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Forest Hill Cemetery.
