Stephen Wayne Sullivan, age 54 of McCalla, Al went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2013. He is preceded in death by his wife Carol (Lynn)Easter Sullivan. He is survived by his parents James and Betty Sullivan, sister Brenda O’Dazier, niece Ashleigh O’Dazier, nephews Colby and Corey O’Dazier , great nephew Blaine O’Dazier ,and many other relatives and friends. Additional survivors include Caroline Easter and the Easter family.
He was a graduate of U.A.B. and worked as an appraiser for Infinity Insurance Company and Long Lewis Ford. Later Steve managed an auto body shop until his retirement. He was an avid diver, hunter, and fisherman who spent much of his free time in the outdoors that he loved. He also had a lifelong passion for Dobermans and is survived by his current loves ( Babe and Tess).
A memorial service for Steve will be Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood, AL, followed by a celebration of life at Valley Chapel . Burial will take place at Forest Crest Cemetery, 5730 Hwy 78 East, Birmingham, AL 35210.
