

Virginia Ann Montgomery Williams was born on January 3, 1928, to Roy and Anita Wall Montgomery, and passed away on December 16, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents; her husband, Bill Williams; and her brother, Roy "Buddy" Montgomery.
Ann shared a special bond with her extended family, including her very special aunt and uncle, Theo and Lucille Stansell, who held an important place in her life.
She was a graduate of Phillips High School and spent her working years alongside her husband, Bill in the furniture business before retiring. A woman of strong faith and dedication, Ann was a devoted member of Vestavia Hills Methodist Church. She was also a life member of the United Methodist Women and a longtime member of the Altar Guild.
Ann gave generously of her time to her community. She was an active member of the Vestavia Hills Historical Society and volunteered in many civic affairs, including working at polling locations. Known for her kindness and service, she was always willing to help where she was needed.
In her personal life, Ann found great joy in baking and spending time with her family. She especially cherished time with her sisters-in-law and nieces and looked forward to their annual week together at the beach, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Ann is survived by her sister-in-law, Peggy Williams Rogers and numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved as her own, along with extended family members and dear friends who will remember her for her warmth, devotion, and gentle spirit.
A memorial service to honor Ann's extraordinary life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vestavia Methodist Church in Vestavia Hills, AL.
