William John Christiansen Jr.

CHRISTIANSEN, WILLIAM JOHN, JR. William John "Bill" Christiansen, Jr., age 83, of Vestavia Hills died on August 24, 2010. Mr. Christiansen was a gradate of Shades Cahaba High School and served in the U.S. Army, Airborne Division. He was an active member of Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church and a member of the Masons. He was the national sales manager for American Standard Company and was the founder of Chris - More Inc. headquartered in Memphis, TN and served as the president of Southern Wholesalers Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Dawson Christiansen and parents, William John and Mitylene Christiansen. His is survived by his daughters, Lynne Bell of Lexington, KY and Mary Jean Archer of Birmingham; sons, William John Christiansen, III (Anita) of Nashville, TN and Robert W. Christiansen (Carol) of Vestavia Hills; brother, Bob Christiansen and sister, Jean Christiansen Freeman. Mr. Christiansen is also survived by his 14 loving grandchildren whom he adored so much. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 27th at 10 until 11 at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel followed by the funeral service at 11. The burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
