Bernice P. “Bunny” Wade, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2021, due to complications from COVID-19. Born in Somerville, Ma., she graduated from Somerville High School in 1946. She was an active member of the Winter Hill Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed ceramics, getting together with friends, and playing bocce and corn hole with her friends at Sunflower Springs. After a career with Sentry Insurance, she retired to Homosassa, FL with her husband Charlie. She was predeceased by her husband Charlie, her parents William and Maria Yarn, and two siblings, Bill Yarn and Parthena Fudge. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Wade; son, Bill Wade; and grandchildren, Julia and Michael Wade. A private service will be held at the First United Methodist Church columbarium.
