Betty S. Espinoza

Betty S. Espinoza, 85, of Pine Ridge in Beverly Hills, FL, passed away on Sun., Dec. 13, 2015 at her home. A native of Archie, Missouri, she was born Aug. 20, 1930 to George and Elsie (Blackburn) Wilcox, one of two children. Betty was a lifelong homemaker and former real estate agent and moved to Pine Ridge 18 years ago from Reston, VA. She was a real estate agent in the U.S. Pacific Territory of Guam when she met her husband of nearly 39 years, Luis J. “Lou” Espinoza, who survives her, and attended Crystal River United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband Lou, of Pine Ridge, she is survived by her son Steven Erlandson (wife Marie), of Kauai, Hawaii; her stepchildren Luis J. Espinoza, Jr. of Charlottesville, VA; Lori Pleasants (husband Gary) of Crozet, VA and Leilani Walthers of New Orleans, LA; grandchildren Christi, Lauren, Nicholas, Ryan and Ashley and great grandchildren Gloria, Riley and Elly. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lea Wilcox Mitchell.
