Born Jan. 25, 1935 in Gainesville, GA, and was the son of the late Clyde and Dilha Reeves. He moved to this area in 1973 from Gainesville, GA. Charles was a self-employed entrepreneur, Army and Air Force veteran of Korea. He was an avid poker player and enjoyed traveling.
Charles is survived by his fiancé Patsy Bottoms; sons Larry, Charlie and Richard Reeves; daughters Lynn Mitchell, Joan Roper, Susan Bradley, Cheryl Todd, Robin Rogers, Lisa Schenck, Miranda Gibson and Tiffany Reeves; brother Ralph Reeves; sisters Margaret Carter, Carolyn, Barbara and Frances; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 4 pm, Friday, April 22, 2011 at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa Springs. Friends will be received from 3:30 pm until the hour of service. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. Condolence may be given at www.wilderfuneral.com.
