Clara Joseph Malone, 80, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Sun., June 23, 2024 at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL. A native of Wheeling, W. Va., she was born Aug. 26, 1943 to Louis and Josephine (Phillips) Joseph, one of five children. A lifelong loving homemaker, Clara had the distinction of caddying for nine events on the PGA Champions Tour in 1999 and 2000 for her loving husband Mike Malone, who survives her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Joann Hill (and her husband Ken); Dee Cinque (and her husband Al) and Louise Stocking. Clara is also survived by her son Brian Shope of Cairo, GA and daughter Chris Shope of Lawrenceville, GA; brother Ron Joseph (and wife Roberta) of Spring Hill, FL; several grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
