Deborah (Debbie) Ann Lyublanovits died Friday August 23, 2024. She was born on November 22, 1953, in St. Petersburg, FL to Harry and Nelda Stanton. She also lived in Detroit, MI and Madeira Beach, FL before settling most recently in Ozello, FL
After graduating from Seminole High School, Debbie attended St. Petersburg College where she earned an Associate’s Degree. After a successful career in banking, Debbie went back to school and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Gerontology from USF. Debbie spent the next 40 years of her life serving her community and those in need by counseling victims of trauma and abuse, focusing mostly on children at HOPE Family Services in Bradenton, FL, Crisis Center of Tampa Bay in Tampa, FL, Deborah A. Martin Inc. in Crystal River, and Jessie’s Place Child Advocacy Center in Lecanto.
Debbie was a member of the Boykin Spaniel Society and was a University of Florida Master Gardener, but what she loved most was spending time with her family and dogs. Her love of the outdoors included gardening, traveling, camping, and exploring new areas throughout the State of Florida and the United States. She enjoyed being on the water boating, scalloping, and fishing and found endless joy hunting for "treasures” at thrift stores and always helping those around her.
