Elliott "Don" Buras was born on November 8, 1924 in Triumph, Louisiana and passed away on February 25, 2019 in Land O' Lakes, Florida and is under the care of Macrini-Wilder Funeral Home.

Friends Will Be Received will be held on March 1, 2019 at 11:00 am at Wilder Funeral Home , 4890 South Suncoast Blvd, Homosassa, FL.

Interment With Military Honors will be held on March 1, 2019 at 1:15 pm at Fountains Memorial Park.

They were preceded in death by Frank P. Buras (Father), Ella B. Maden (Mother), Twila Buras (Beloved late wife of 56 years, passed in 2000). They are survived by Donna Patrick (Daughter), Julie Butcher (Daughter), Phil Buras (Son), Don was preceded in death by his four siblings and is also survived by grandchildren Justin, Jared, Kim (husband Todd) and Mark (wife Marsha) and great grandchildren Emma, Julie, David and Josh.
