Leonard A. "Lenny" Jones

Leonard Jones, known to friends as "Lenny," passed away on April 11, 2018, at the age of 84 years. A native of Jamaica, Leonard arrived to America in 1957 with his wife. He was a diesel and bus mechanic and retired to Homosassa at the age of 55.

Leonard enjoyed playing the guitar, pool, fishing and most of all bowling. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Edna, son Beresford (wife Nancy), daughter Elizabeth (husband Enloe), sister Eulah (husband Roy) and grandchildren Alex and Kelsey. In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by siblings Oscar, Ken, Muriel, George and Basil. Leonard will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Celebrations of Leonards’ life will be held at 11 am, on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Wilder Funeral Home, 4890 S. Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa, FL, 34446 and at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL 32707 on Sat., April 28, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
